Can a nonstick pan be cooked with lard

The pot is the most common kind of kitchenware in our lives, and the non-stick pot is very popular because of its high cost performance and it does not stick to the bottom of the pot when used. But when many people use non-stick pans, they have questions about whether non-stick pans can be cooked with lard. Let's take a look together.

It is well known that the first thing people do after buying the pan is to use pork to cook the pan, but for non-stick pans, it is absolutely impossible. We only need to wash it with water and clean it. If the oil temperature is too high, the anti-sticking layer will be damaged. If it is separated from the iron pan, bubbling is prone to occur, and then the cooking is accidentally punctured, and the pan becomes a normal pan. In addition, do not heat the pan for too long and too high temperature when cooking. Above 200 degrees (boiling water is 100 degrees, the oil is much higher than boiling water) PTFE layer will decompose and release chemical substances. Some people say that it is carcinogenic and others say that the amount is small, don’t worry, it’s not good anyway.

Before using the newly purchased non-stick pan, wash the pan and coat it with a thin layer of cooking oil to increase the non-stick effect. When cooking food in a non-stick pan, use a medium or low fire, do not turn the fire to a high level, or use a metal spatula. Instead, use a bamboo or wooden spatula to avoid damage to the non-stick coating.

Before using for the first time, remove the label, rinse with water and wipe dry. Coat a thin layer of cooking oil (except butter and lard) to maintain maintenance. In addition, when cooking with non-stick pans, it is best to use medium or low heat. Because the medium heat has been able to achieve the best cooking results. Generally speaking, a high fire will not speed up the cooking speed, but will only waste energy. If a high fire is used, there must be food in the pot, and do not dry non-stick pans over high fire.
